BIRD & BUTTERFLY WATCHING

Experience a new and different bird and butterfly watching. Get to see closely the endemic species in their habitat at a Minca's jungle private reserve. Enjoy Toucans, Woodpeckers, King Voltures, Oropendulas and many others at the privacy of an exclusive ancestral indigenous path with the a local birdwatcher and english speaking translator. The tour begins at 6:30 am to 9:30 am. Includes binoculars. Bring sport shoes and mosquito repellant.

HIDDEN WATERFALLS ADVENTURE

The tour starts with an enchanting 50 minute walk through the jungle with a variety of fauna and flora to see and a beautiful view of the mountains as we approach the private property entrance. We then descend to the river, where we visit 2 places, each with a unique waterfall and natural pool to swim. If you feel adventurous, there is an option to go through a cave and get up close to one of the waterfalls, feeling the power of the river with the natural spray of the waterfall. Entrance to the property is exclusive to Embassy Minca tours, which allows this special experience to be enjoyed more privately.

COFFEE & COCOA

Visit a coffee and cocoa "old school" farm hidden inside the jungle. Walk with one of our guides through an ancestral indigenous path (not on maps) where you see all kinds of birds, butterflies, exotic fauna and flora. Malanga, the grower will show you all the process, from the pick of the fruit to the cups of coffee you will enjoy.

THE OWL TOUR (NIGHT TOUR)

Experience and be enchanted by a night safari trekking adventure and walk through ancestrals indigenous paths in the darkness of the night with Freddy one of our expert local guides. Look at wild life that only come out at night, foxes, armadilos, porcupines, snakes, giant frogs, bats, tarantulas and others. Goes everyday from.

MINCA SAFARI

All goes by walk, through ancestrals indigenous paths. The tour starts at embassy, across the jungle with a variety of fauna and flora to see, we visit 2 places, each with a unique waterfall and natural pool to swim. At noon we come back to minca and lunch in a typical colombian restaurant. At 2 pm the tour continues on a one way track for 45 minutes across another jungle where many birds, a butterfly path, armadilos and porcupines nests are available to visit, kings frogs, snakes and other animals and insects are easy to see. Then we approach an old school coffee and cacao plantation where you will see the artisanal production process showed by the grower. Then at 4:30 pm we walk back to minca.
